The goal is to eat some protein as well as good carbs in the morning. This will help you stay full and not gut hungry soon after breakfast.And if you can add fiber to your breakfast it will also keep you fuller longer.

Avoid sugary foods like pastries or sugary cereals as these are empty calories and you will be hungry soon after eating them. Also avoid fast foods for breakfast. These are just plain bad and packed full of sodium,fat and very high in calories. Although some fast food restaurants do offer lighter fair that will be okay if you are in a hurry like McDonald’s fruit and walnut salad.

And if you can switch any milk or creamer in your coffee to fat free versions in order to cut out fat and calories. but beware some fat free flavored creamers are high in sugar so read the labels carefully!
